Purchased & Installed Office 2024, But Word Still Shows Office 2021? Fix It Here
I bought and downloaded Microsoft Office 2024 for installation on one PC. When I opened Word, it still indicated Office 2021 instead of 2024.
I clicked on Switch and saw that both editions, 2021 and 2024, were displayed. I chose Office 2024, which was already pre-selected, but when I created a Word document and checked for my account, it still indicated Office 2021.
This is how I stop Office 2021 and ensure that I truly use Office 2024.”
